Day 1
Transfer from the airport to Cracow
Sightseeing:
Planty: the belt of grass surrounding with loop the centre of city, it was put in 1822, on a place of destroyed town walls, moats and ramparts
The Barbican: was built between 1498-1499 with the financial support of King Jan Olbracht. Barbican is the largest and the only object kept so well in Europe.
Florianska Gate: the main town gate, was built in the end of XIII century to guard the northern city entrance. With the time it came the imortant representative unit on Royal Way, leading by the Cloth Hall to Wawel Hill
Museum of Czartoryscy: it is one of the oldest museum in Poland. Gatherings belonged to the Izabela’s Czartoryska private museum in Puławy
The Main Market Place: it was traced in 1257, as a square. The Market sightseeing we begin from St Mary’s Chuch, built in the gothic style between 1287-1320. Cloth Hall came from XIV century. It was rebuilt after the fire in 1555 in the Renaissance style by prominent architects( Jan Maria Padovano, Santi Gucci, Jan Frankstijn). Adam Mickiewicz Monument- during his life he never visited Cracow, although 35 years after his death in Paris, his ashes were imported here.

Sightseeing:
Kazimierz: farmer Jewish town which was established in XIV century and inhabited by Jews at the end of XV. Shortly it became one of the most important Jewish centers in this parto of Europe, famous of high level of education and culture. It is still the most original part of Cracow with synagogue, old cementeries, Jewish shops and special athmosphere.
Transfer to The salt Mine Wieliczka: is the oldest salt enterprise on Polish land dating back to the Middle Ages. For centuries it was the source of the country’s wealth and the material foundation of its culture. Today it is the most popular Polish tourist attraction. Magnificent chapels, captivating underground lakes, original tools and equipment, traces of mining works allow us to understand the human struggle against the elements, their work, their passion and their beliefs. The Wieliczka miners have left behind many salt carvings and murals. After sightseeing, tourists can rest in the chamber complex 125 metres underground where they can find souvenir shops, a restaurant, and a post office.
